i think i also feel this way about FriendFeed. i don't like it for some reason. maybe because it's not the future yet.
i also think cats are soooo 15 minutes ago.
One thing I'm too futurist for my own good is watching shows on TV. Who the hell wants to watch all those commercials? You can watch anything and everything now online and in HD. My 50" plasma in the living room is my monitor and then I just have a wireless keyboard and mouse as my remotes. It's like having every channel in the world in HD at any time you feel like watching it for the price of a high speed connection. I just don't see the point to cable or satellite anymore other than sports packages.
To watch football on the weekend I got a $60 power HD antennae and I couldn't be happier :D Plus with ESPN 360 I get a ton of sports online... anyway. Thats what I'm too futurist for... Sorry for the rant.
The traditional networks and distribution channels are going to change drastically in the next 5 years.
